I hope any of you that are using feedburner aren’t using the feedburner feed directly. There might be trouble if what this story speculates is the case: Your FeedBurner RSS Data rights will be owned by Google (via Geek News Central).
I use feedburner, but via a redirect. I can leave feedburner out of the equation at any moment. I feel for bloggers and podcasters who used feedburner directly, should this turn out to be the case.

Paul – FYI, we’ve always worked hard to ensure our publishers remain in control of their feed and their subscribers at all times. See this post for details about how to have us redirect requests to your FeedBurner feed if you ever wish to leave the service; hopefully that allays any concerns you (or your readers) might have. As you point out, using a redirect is always a great idea, but not all bloggers have that option. Consequently, we want to provide additional protection so that people can leave at any time (though we sure hope they don’t!).
Hope that helps,
Rick Klau
