Sometimes when you’re in technology ministry sometimes you want to add high production value to your shots. The problem is that most gear to do that is a bit on the expensive side. Occasionally, you find something that can really help out, but that’s not that expensive.
In this case, it’s called a table dolly. Basically, it’s a small set of wheels for your camera. You put it on a flat surface and viola — motion.
Here’s a quick example of what some shots from a table dolly could look like. Notice the subtle motion.
