On today’s Tech, No Babel: The How and Why of Video Shot Lists
Shot lists provide:
-a common language among the production personnel
-short hand for complex ideas
-a playbook to guide shots
They’re not exhaustive lists of all possible shots.
To make your own (for training and reference):
1. Look for the standard shots that you use most often.
2. Give those shots, short, meaningful names.
3. Commit them to paper and/or an ebook/pdf.
