[tweet “Look for these things to avoid twitter scams.”]1. A link that takes you to a Twitter login page (check the URL; it’s not Twitter).
2. Any link that you must “copy and paste for security.”
3. A link from someone that’s out of character for them.
4. Buying followers. This isn’t technically a scam. It is against Twitters terms of service and it’s useless, unless you’re a major Hollywood celebrity and then it’s just wrong.
