When a new version of your computer’s OS comes out, you might be tempted to upgrade. Watch this to learn what can happen if you do and when you should upgrade.
[tweet “Watch tutorial to learn what can happen when you’re upgrading to a newer version of the OS too soon and when you SHOULD upgrade.”]Every year Apple releases a new version of their Mac OS. Windows gets upgraded periodically as well. So, when should you upgrade?
If you watch this tutorial, you’ll see an obvious problem with upgrading before ProPresenter is ready. In this case, it was one of the UI elements that was misplaced. It could just as easily be that ProPresenter wouldn’t open or it wouldn’t see the output displays or some other problem.
In general, I recommend that you wait to upgrade until the first revision of a new version of the OS (for example, 10.12.1 vs. 10.12.0) and a new build of ProPresenter (15150 vs. 15136).
Watch the video and see what happens when you upgrade earlier and what happens when you install a build of ProPresenter.
